Trackbit is a low cost Real-Time Location Solution (RTLS) for tracking people and assets and gain real time information on the status of the assets, people and workflows. It engages Zigbee over WiFi wireless protocols to achieve the same. Trackbit RTLS tags, Routers and TrackMe software together improves managements visibility by exposing the behavior of otherwise hidden low level key business performance indicators.It helps in improving operational efficiency and workflow.Real-time location systems (RTLS) allow one to locate people or assets in real time.
Real-time location systems (RTLS) allow one to locate people or assets in real time. RTLS add value to a lot of business domains from transportation to manufacturing, agriculture to healthcare. Several businesses uses location as the input to a number of critical business processes.Trackbit automates and empowers its users with business intelligence through real time location tracking, which otherwise need cumbersome manual processes to identify any hidden problems and get to the bottom of it. Solution comprises of three mandatory components and one optional component.

Trackbit Router
Trackbit routers form the backbone for the RTLS solution. As tags enter the range of a router the RF signals will be picked up by the router. Routers use its ZigBee adaptor to receive the data.
Trackbit Gateway
In areas where there are no Wi-Fi access points but have only Ethernet connection, Trackbit Gateway can act as the access point.If there are no LAN then TrackBit Gateway can act as the Wi-Fi access point as well as push data to the cloud using its built in GSM module.
Trackbit Tag
Tags are the actual low-cost tracking device that will be attached to the people and assets. It sends out RF signals indicating its presence. Tags uses Zigbee wireless protocol to send out signals indicating its presence at any given location.
TrackMe Desktop Software
TrackMe, a tracking software that provides live updates to clearly depict the movement of each of the devices being tracked. This software can convert building floor plans into interactive GUI where users can self-configure their backbone network layout through simple drag-and-drop mechanism available in the TrackMe interface. As opposed to RFID based RTLS, Trackbit tags provide more real time locations with higher accuracy by transmitting RF signals every two seconds at a considerably lower cost.
