What is Energy Monitor
The smart meter is an energy reading and data transmission device used in either a 3 phase or a single phase environment. The device consists of two modules which could be placed easily at sites. The hardware design ensures that the device will be very modular when used in installation and could be accommodated in various configurations without having to cost space inside the Mains MCB as with various other units
To add to this, device is constructed to measure isolated voltage and current readings with the specification of Short term isolation voltage (2s) for 4.6kVrms, 6.5 kVDC and basic isolation voltage of 4000V for each unit respectively
Smart Meter
The Smart meter is divided into two modules consisting of a current sensing unit and a module that is housing all the power calculation parameters. The T-shaped smaller module makes up as the current sensing unit consisting of three current sensing devices. It just needs a simple wired setup to be powered in order to transfer readings to second modules fitted outside. Current sensing is done non- invasively through Hall Effect technique capable of handling current up to 50A.

Energy Tracker
The 3-Phase Energy Reader is a high accuracy electrical power measurement system. It is capable of handling AC loads up to 150A. There is a built in SMPS incorporated, thus it can be directly connected to the AC mains. The energy readings from the meter can be transmitted to a remote receiver wirelessly, which is then sent to the cloud via an IoT gateway. These energy readings can be accessed and analyzed remotely using smart phones.
